Double digit days of soccer. SO MANY GAMES!!!

Group E – group of not an easy life: but for Curacao, this would have been the group of death*
Germany 2 (117/311) v. Ivory Coast 1 (44/672)
Ivory Coast almost had it. They could have won this game and shocked the world. They had a perfect pass in front of goal to get a man alone with the goalie, but instead of shooting it on his first touch, he decided to take a touch, then two, and then he lost the ball. Then a few minutes later, Germany got their second goal and the game was done. Germany are now into the knockout stage and likely going as leaders of the group. Ivory Coast is also still fine, they just need a result from their last game against Curacao.
Ecuador 0 (5/1,624) v. Curacao 0 (183/141)
*Curacao may not be as bad as we originally thought. Ecuador needed the win. Ecuador needs a goal 36 shots in two games and no goals (26 in this game).** On the other side, good for Curacao. After getting absolutely smoked by Germany, they get a 0-0 win!
Group F – on the verge of being on the verge of being the group of death (Sweden and Tunisia are not good enough to get it there)
Dutch 5 (143/271) v. Sweden 1 (140/277)
The Orange were a lot better than the Swedes. Both teams could still go through.
Tunisia (120/308) 0 v. Japan (78/441) 4
How am I supposed to watch a game that starts at midnight?! Ya boi has to sleep.
Tomorrow’s Games
Group G – everyone tied so wide open
3 pm – Belgium v. Iran
9 pm – New Zealand v. Egypt (what is old Zealand?)
Group H – everyone tied so wide open but Spain and Uruguay need to win
12 pm – Spain v. Saudi Arabia
6 pm – Uruguay v. Cabo Verde
** At least they are not Turkey who has had 61 shots, played against 10 men, and still has no goals and have been eliminated from the tournament.
